Anything else I can say about myself
I have been creating websites since 1998 and love it as much now as I did when I first started mucking around with building free Geocities websites so many years ago. I admit to beeing a bit of a geek, nerd or whatever you want to call it.
I love to design websites and code them up. I have a huge love of coding, whether it be HTML, CSS, Actionscript or a little bit of javascript and PHP. I would sit and code all day if given half the chance.
I admit to a bit of a fondness for using those evil Microsoft products - Excel and Access - I love to create spreadsheets and databases. There is something extremely satisfying in creating something user friendly that has clean code (and there raises the geeky head of mine again...).
Along with the web and Office aspect of things I do, I'm also very happy to be doing a bit of print design. The pedantic part of me loves to make sure a book is consistent throughout, which ensures I will produce a great final result.
When I'm not found mucking around building websites, Flash animations or creating yet another excel template I can be found reading a good book (please check out Charles De Lint, such a wonderful author who should be read all the time), playing softball (I'm not very good at it, but I keep trying [and trying, and trying]) or camping with my family, doing a spot of fishing - which is possibly the only time I'm not sitting with a computer near me...
